Ingredients

  • 1 cup sesame seeds
  • 1/4 cup olive oil

Instructions

  • Prefer to use organic sesame seeds for Tahini. First, Spread the sesame seeds on the baking paper. Then, you can roast it without the baking paper as well. I use it because of the non-sticky properly of the paper.
  • Roast sesame seeds in preheat oven to 350°F for 4-5 minutes. Keep an eye on Sesame seeds. Let it be slightly brown, but not too much otherwise, and you will end up burning the sesame seeds.
  • Now, take out the seeds and let them cool down. Once all seeds seem to be at normal temperature, shift the seeds to a grinder jar.
  • You can grind the Sesame seeds finely and use them directly as a deep or Mix it with olive oil and make a smooth paste. Delicious Tahini is ready to serve. Fill it in tightly covered jar and store it in refrigerator. You can use it for months.
