Ingredients

  • 300 gm Paneer Cottage cheese

For batter

  • 1/4 cup corn flour
  • 1/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper powder
  • 1 teaspoon soya sauce
  • 1/4 cup water
  • salt as per taste

For sauce

  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 medium capsicum cut into big pieces as shown in picture below
  • 1 medium onion cut into big pieces as shown in picture below
  • 1 teaspoon soya sauce
  • 1/4 cup spting onions optional
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon garlic finally chopped
  • 1 teaspoon ginger paste
  • 1-2 green chilies as per the taste cut into small pieces
  • 1 tablespoon corn flour mix with 5 tablespoon water

Instructions

  • Cut paneer in small cube ( 1 * 1/2 inch) . Mix all the ingredient for batter except paneer and make smooth batter.
  • Now add all the paneer cubes in batter and let it marinated for 10 minutes.
  • Deep fry all the paneer cubes till golden brown
  • Heat 1 tablespoon of oil and add garlic, ginger , chilies and onion, after 1 min add capsicum, soya sauce , sugar and corn flour (mix with 5 tablespoon of water) and paneer cubes( stir it till all the ingredients mix well)
  • Chilli paneer is ready , you can garnish it with spring onion
