Ingredients

  • 250 gm Paneer cubes
  • 1/2 Cup curd
  • 1 Teaspoon Paneer tikka Masala or garam masala You can also add Red chilli powder if both are not available
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 onion

Instructions

  • Cut onion and Capsicum into big pieces. Similar to size of paneer cubes.
  • Mix the curd, Masala and butter separately in a bowl and make a smooth paste.
  • Add the Paneer cubes in the paste. Mix it lightly so that you don't break the paneer.
  • Cover it with plastic wrape and let it sit in the refrigerator for an hour.
  • Take the skewers and arrange paneer, onion, capsicum in order.
  • Heat the pan. Brush it with butter and place all the skewers.
  • Grill it from all the sides evenly. until it is golden brown.
  • serve hot with mint chutney or any other chutney / sauce of your choice

Notes

  • You can follow the same recipe, and grill the paneer in the oven for 20 minutes at 220 C temperature
  • I sometimes add green chillies as well in the tikka masala to infuse spicy flavour in the paneer.
