Kaju Katli Cashew nuts Dessert

Kaju Katli is one of the famous Indian dessert made up of only two key ingredients. It is a family favourite and always a must served dessert during the festival like Deepavali and Rakhi.

Ingredients

  • 250 gm Cashew nuts
  • 150 gm Sugar
  • 100 ml water

Instructions

  • Boil sugar and water on medium heat
  • It takes at least 8-10 minutes to get the  one thread sugar syrup, add one drop of syrup in water in a separate bowl, if it doesn’t dissolve  that means your syrup is ready.
  • Add cashew nuts powder
  • Mix well for 2-3 minutes, make sure that there are no lumps in the mixture and take the mixture out of the pan.
  • Use gloves or spatula to knead the dough. Knead the dough for few minutes until it becomes soft, then roll .
  • cut into the shape you like.
