Palak Paneer- Spinach curry with cottage cheese
It is a very nutritious and full of iron and protein. Palak paneer goes well with hot chapathi, naan or rice.

- 2 cup Spinach after boiling or frozen
- 250 gm Paneer
- 1 1/2 tablespoon oil
- 1 medium size tomatoes finely chopped
- 1 large onion finely chopped
- 3-4 garlic cloves finely chopped
- 1/2 inch ginger finely chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder
- 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 2 tablespoon fresh cream
- slat to taste
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon coriander seeds
- 2 cloves
- 1 black cardamom
- 2 star Anise
- 2 Dry red chilies
Boil spinach and drain water
Make paste
Cut paneer (Cottage cheese) in small cubes
Heat oil in pan, add cumin seeds,garlic ,ginger and all the ingredients listed in garam masala section
Add chopped onion
sauté on a medium flame for 2 minutes. add chopped tomato
again sauté on a medium flame for 2 minutes. Add spinach paste. Mix well and cook it for 2-3 minutes
Add Paneer (cottage cheese) cubes ,garam masala powder and cook it for 3-4 minutes
Palak paneer is ready
