As a fan of easy and delicious vegetarian recipes, I find that Paneer Tikka hits all the right notes—spicy, tangy, and just downright yummy! Whether you’re hosting a party or just looking for something special to spice up your dinner routine, this Paneer Tikka recipe is your answer. Let’s get cooking and bring some Indian flair to your table!

Ingredients: Simple and Fresh

First things first, let’s gather what we need for this succulent Indian appetizer:

•250 gm Paneer, cut into cubes
•1/2 cup curd (yogurt)
•1 teaspoon Paneer Tikka Masala or garam masala (add red chili powder if desired)
•1 tablespoon butter, plus extra for brushing
•1 large onion
•1 Capsicum (bell pepper), optional but recommended for that extra crunch
Step-by-Step Cooking Guide

Step 1: Prep Your Veggies

Cut the onion and capsicum into large pieces, similar in size to your paneer cubes. This not only makes your skewers look good but ensures everything cooks evenly.

Step 2: Whip Up the Marinade

In a bowl, mix the curd, Paneer Tikka Masala, and butter until you get a smooth and creamy paste. This marinade is where all the magic happens, infusing the paneer with rich flavors.

Step 3: Marinate the Paneer

Add the paneer cubes to the marinade and gently toss them to coat evenly. Be careful not to break the paneer. Once mixed, cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least an hour. This step is crucial for allowing the paneer to absorb all the delicious flavors.

Step 4: Skewer and Cook

Once marinated, thread the paneer, onion, and capsicum onto skewers, alternating them. Heat a pan over medium heat and brush it with some butter. Place the skewers in the pan and grill them until they’re evenly golden brown on all sides.

Serving Suggestions: Enjoy Paneer Tikka Hot!

Serve your Paneer Tikka hot, straight off the grill, with some mint chutney or your favorite sauce. The smoky flavor of the grilled paneer and veggies, combined with the tangy chutney, makes for a mouthwatering experience.
