Banana Bread Recipe: Your New Go-To Snack

Banana Bread Recipe

Who doesn’t love a slice of moist banana bread with their coffee or as a quick breakfast option? Today, I’m sharing a quick and easy banana bread recipe that’s perfect for millennials on the go. Whether you’re a baking novice or looking to add a new recipe, this banana bread will become your new favourite!

Ingredients: What You’ll Need

First things first, let’s gather our ingredients to make this delicious banana bread:

•3 ripe bananas (about 300 gm when pureed)
•100 gm sugar
•250 gm self-raising flour
•1/2 cup butter (about 3 tablespoons, melted)
•3-4 drops of vanilla essence
•2 tablespoons egg replacer (or 2 eggs if you prefer)
•1 teaspoon baking soda

Instructions: Let’s Get Baking!

Step 1: Prep Your Bananas and Sugar

Instead of mashing bananas and mixing sugar separately, let’s keep it simple. Toss the bananas and sugar into a blender and blend until smooth. This method saves time and ensures a perfectly smooth mixture for your batter.

Step 2: Mix Your Dry and Wet Ingredients

In a separate bowl, whisk together the self-raising flour and baking soda. Add the banana puree, melted butter, vanilla essence, and egg replacer to the dry ingredients. Mix everything together for about a minute until you have a moist and soft batter. This is the secret to a loaf of fluffy banana bread, so make sure everything is well combined without overmixing.

Step 3: Prepare Your Pan

Before pouring your batter, grease a loaf pan with some butter. This helps in easy removal of the bread once it’s baked and also gives a nice golden crust to the sides of your banana bread.

Step 4: Bake to Perfection

Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees Celsius for about 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the centre comes out clean and the top is golden brown.

Serving and Storage Tips: Enjoy Your Banana Bread!

Let the banana bread cool in the pan for a few minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack to cool completely. Slice it up and enjoy it either warm or at room temperature. If you want to keep it for later, banana bread can be wrapped in cling film and stored at room temperature for a few days or frozen for longer storage.

Conclusion: Why This Banana Bread Recipe Rocks

This easy banana bread recipe not only delivers a deliciously moist loaf every time, but it’s also adaptable. Feel free to add nuts or swap in some whole wheat flour for a healthier twist. It’s perfect for busy lifestyles, offering a quick, satisfying snack or a hearty start to your day.

Remember, baking isn’t just about following a recipe—it’s about creating memories and, of course, some incredibly tasty treats. So, grab your apron, and let’s make baking as fun and easy as it should be with this fabulous banana bread recipe!
